If you drop by between 5 PM and 8:30 PM, you can try their Sambal Stingray Set ($12.80). This dish features fresh stingray grilled to perfection and slathered with a spicy, tangy Sambal sauce. Another must-try is the Cuttlefish Kangkung ($6.90), combining tender cuttlefish and leafy Kangkung in a savoury Sambal sauce.
A Tribute to Uncle Heng
The inspiration behind Heng Ong Huat comes from co-founder Harvey Ang’s fond memories of his first landlord, Uncle Heng. Harvey recounts how Uncle Heng’s nasi lemak made a lasting impression on him when he first arrived in Singapore over a decade ago. Together with his team, Harvey recreated Uncle Heng’s recipe, aiming to deliver that same comforting taste to their customers.
