Our visit to Si Chuan Dou Hua at UOB Plaza was a journey into the heart of Sichuan cuisine, reimagined for the Lunar New Year. The High Tea Set, priced at $60++ per pax, offered a diverse range of dishes, each meticulously prepared and presented. Available til end February 2024.

What We Tried

The Prosperity Smoked Salmon Yusheng was a refreshing take on the traditional Yusheng. At the same time, the Steamed Crystal Crabmeat Dumpling and Steamed Trio Colour Abalone Dumpling were visual and gastronomic delights. The Crispy-fried Minced Meat dumplings in Hulu Shape and Swan Thousand Layered Pastry with Dried Scallops were artistic masterpieces. The Waxed Meat Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf, Steamed Golden Ingot Pandan, and Coconut Chinese Nian Gao symbolise prosperity and good fortune. The meal concluded with the Homemade Bean Curd with Peach Resin, Osmanthus, and Wolfberries.

The High Tea Set was not just a meal; it was an experience of balanced flavours and culinary artistry. The individual plate of Yu Sheng and the homemade bean curd were particular highlights, showcasing Si Chuan Dou Hua’s commitment to quality and innovation.
