PetExpo 2023 is just around the corner, and pet lovers will want to get their wallets ready. With over 90 exhibitors, talks, workshops, and more, PetExpo continues to bring the pet community together in one central location. The event will take place at the Singapore Expo Hall 6 from 14 to 16 April.
What to Expect at PetExpo 2023
PetExpo 2023 is set to be bigger and better than ever before. This year, the event will take over 10,000 square metres of exhibition space across Singapore Expo Hall 6. With more than 90 local and regional exhibitors, attendees can look forward to various products and accessories for their furry friends.
PetExpo will also feature an entire programme of activities with a common theme of improving the well-being of pets and educating pet owners on how they can effectively do so. The Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster of the National Parks Board, will conduct free pet health checks and share more about pet health and the importance of regular health checks. There will also be a variety of themed booths covering AVS’ work, including promoting responsible pet ownership, the importance of licensing and microchipping, and enhancing animal training and husbandry capabilities.

The Highlights of PetExpo 2023
There will be many new activities to look forward to at PetExpo 2023. On day one of the expo, attendees can watch pet groomers compete for the top spot in the FCI Grooming Competition by The Singapore Kennel Club (SKC). Guests can also witness the colourful ensemble of shrimps compete in the Singapore Ornamental Shrimp Competition and the 4th Singapore Guppy Championship.
Visitors looking to catch a glimpse of the shows may consider joining in on the fun at the SKC Championship Dog Show & FCI International CACIB Dog Show, happening on day two and FFSS 4-Rings CFA Cat Show on day three.
Promoting Adoption and Responsible Pet Ownership
PetExpo 2023 will spotlight adoption initiatives and the importance of giving pets forever homes. Organised by AVS, together with AVS’ Animal Welfare Group partners, members of the public keen on adopting a pet can learn more about what it takes to adopt a pet, such as dogs, cats, rabbits and hamsters.

PetExpo is Singapore’s Largest Annual Pet Fair, which started in 2014 as a platform for the pet communities to congregate, share their experiences, gather insights on pet ownership, and network with other pet owners at the event. PetExpo has been an enormous success, with sustained year-on-year growth. Last year’s edition, the first after a 2-year long hiatus, saw 33,000 visitors and nearly 10,000 pets.
