The time has come once again for perennial festive favourites to make their appearance at Song Of India. Feast on the ever impressive Whole Tandoori Turkey Stuffed with Morel Biryani ($136++), or for smaller groups – the Whole Tandoori Capon with Morel Briyani ($68++). The latter was miraculously moist and tender for a whole, cooked bird, rubbed with aromatic spices and stuffed with fragrant, fluffy biryani studded with morel mushrooms. Accompanying it was a rich, tomato-ey sauce and yoghurt dressing, which I heartily encourage you to liberally smear all over the meat and rice with. Delicious.
The Song of India restaurant will be open on Christmas Day, 25 December, for the annual Christmas Brunch Buffet ($46.90++). Guests can also opt for a 4-course Celebrate Christmas ($79++) set dinner, specially curated by Chef Manjunath Mural.
